Mission Statement

The mission of ZS Pharma is to develop and commercialize a safe and effective oral sorbent technology platform that will significantly improve clinical outcomes of those patients suffering from toxic conditions associated with kidney and liver disease.

Corporate Strategy

Our corporate strategy is to advance our product portfolio of oral sorbents to the human proof of concept stage in the acute hyperkalemia market and subsequently develop the broader chronic hyperkalemia indication.  We intend to pursue additional indications for hyperammonemia, uremia and hyperphosphatemia.  At all points in our development program we will explore potential strategic partnerships with companies committed to improving the lives of patients in the acute (hospital), chronic (general medicine) and renal markets.
